Weekend Wrap-up: March 27

Weird few days. I was busy mid-week and got behind on writing so when I posted Thursday Thoughts, I was like – Great! Caught up. Except a few hours later I realized it was Friday. Thankfully, I had most of Free Book Friday ready to go. For you more experienced bloggers, I’m not quite at the planning and scheduling stage yet – getting there, but still far away. I wound up doing three posts on Friday.

I did some more work on my new book covers. Thank you for giving me your input, so if I can impose one more time, I’ve narrowed it down to five.

And now, here are some other’s posts for you to visit:

Step by step – Stop by poet Luna’s blog (she posted some of my poems).

3 Reasons Why It’s Absolutely Necessary to Take Blogging Breaks – Yup. I did. But then I had to catch up…

Weekend Wrap-up: March 6

So earlier last week I just happened to look at my book rankings for my free poetry sample book and noticed it had hit #10. I thought that was pretty cool. Then a few days later it hit #5.

#5 in what category you ask? 45-minute-poetry-short-reads-free or something like that.

Now, I have been experimenting with keywords, search terms, and categories, so I guess it paid off. Where is it now? #1183. How the mighty fall.

Here are some of my blog posts in case you missed them:

And a few worth checking out:

And finally, I am going to start a segment called “Second Chance Sunday” for posts that deserve to be read again or discovered. If you have a post that needs a few more views, I’ll include it as well.

Here’s a question: Why do some embedded links show up nice and “linky” while others show up as a URL address?
