If you are a reader, you will notice that sometimes books will have errors in them. From indie authors to big name writers, things tend to slip through no matter how many eyes are on them.
The brain is a funny thing. It will fill in gaps and anticipate what is being said according to experience. Missing words are often filled in by our brain automatically.
So you are saying you found an error in one of your books?
That’s exactly what I saying.
Oh, I see what you did there.
See?

I posted this yesterday and didn’t have time to do another.

Not weird, but had my first sale of the complete The View from Here trilogy, which means a reader was compelled enough to commit to purchasing all three books at once. That’s a pretty good feeling.

Congrats, Leon, for making your first sale of your complete The View From Here trilogy.
I really enjoyed your drawings. That reminds me, I better go try and learn a song on guitar. I am a lefty and it is not so easy to find instructors for the left-handed guitarist.
Thank you for sharing about editing. I am a writing coach for budding writers and often the question I get is about drafting and how many drafts it takes until one gets past the crappy drafts. I always tell them, just write … errors will happen and the first draft will not be perfect. And even with editing, there will be errors.
Refreshing post.

Thanks for reading. I’m glad you enjoy my sense of humor. My rule of thumb for drafting is if you are not sick of reading your MS then you are not done yet. 🤣
