Free Book Friday Jan 27: Review copies are free books, right?

Why are there no new promos this week? If you are a reader, you might be asking that. Well, not that there is any reason behind it, but most month long promos start on, well, the beginning of the month, so, yeah, I guess that it a good reason. Easy to keep track of and knowing when it ends, just like we don’t make appointments for 9:37 AM.

So, in conclusion, today is January 27 and there are no new promos because most of them end on January 31 to make way for the new ones on February 1.

In the meantime, I am offering review copies for four of my books (so you have to do a bit of work). You can get your copies from StoryOrigin or read on Kindle Unlimited:

I’ll leave last week’s promo links up in case you missed them.

The story behind Free Book Friday:

I’ve met many authors and readers during my time marketing, cross-promoting, and blogging. I think writers have a responsibility to inform readers about all the indie authors out there in the very crowded world of book publishing. You can’t do it alone, and why would you when you have a supportive group available?

Readers don’t just read one author – they stick with their favorite genres. There lies the power in cross-promotion. If one of my readers buys a book from an author I promote, then chances are there will be a reciprocal effect, or so is the hope. Do I want to boost sales? Of course I do. Do I want to boost other’s sales? Why not. It’s called karma.

Some free book offers require a newsletter sign-up, which is a small non-monetary price to pay to try out a new indie author.
