Weird Wednesday Jan 25: Quotes and Cartoons

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Often credited to be from Albert Einstein, but I think it was said by a writer trying to format a word document.

I was trying to insert a few images into my document (mistake #1) and then convert that document into an ePub and MOBI file.

All images had the same layout, but when converted, some appeared correctly, while others disappeared or were cut off. So, I change the layout, and … some, not the same as before were affected, and now some of the text is centered and not left justified. So, I correct those too (and the images again).

Now there’s a difference between how the ePub and MOBI formats display. Double spaces come out as single in the MOBI. Ahhrrg.

And before you suggest revealing formatting…it’s great for revealing stuff you don’t know it got there.
