As an indie author, we are afforded the flexibility to market however we want. As a writer/blogger, I feel it is my duty to entertain readers as much as possible.
I also get annoyed when I purchase something and then it goes on sale. If you buy from a store, usually they will refund the difference since the other option is to accept the return and the repurchase of the item. I can’t do that for a reader who buys my book.
So, since I’m a funny guy, I decided to pin this tweet on my Twitter page:
In order to decrease the sales of my book, The View from Here, over the next 3 weeks, I’ll tell you that it will be on sale from Dec. 1-8. Can’t wait? Only $3.99 now and on KU! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PC3N678
Clever marketing? Time will tell.
