Weird Wednesday: Cartoons / Writing Update

Ever wonder why the keyboard is the way it is?*

So, I confirmed a date with my editor—
Well, well . . .
Not that kind of date. A date to send her my manuscript for The Second View.
Oh.

Which means:

  1. I have to make any additions to it soon.
  2. You will have a chance to read it first before it is published.

What’s the catch?
Well, it is called an ARC (Advance Review Copy)—
You want a review.
Yes. That’s why it is called an Advance Rev—
Yeah, yeah. I get it. What if I haven’t read the first one. Do you have a review copy for that?
Yes. Yes. I do.
But you don’t make any money on review copies.
That’s correct, but good reviews drive sales.
Ahh. I get it. Can I have one?
Soon. I’ll be sending out review requests in the coming weeks.
Sweet.

*Still wondering about the keyboard?
