I wrote the final chapter of book two of my trilogy yesterday. Oh, there is still a lot of revising to do, but with the help of my beta readers, that is coming along well, chapter by chapter.
I want to thank my beta readers who not only get an advance look at the book, but get to point out my continuity errors. “They did this in chapter 4, so they wouldn’t have it in chapter 7” and “When did she put her shoes back on?”
Nice catches.
I would still like it to be longer, so I am adding some detailed descriptions where I think there needs to be more, but writing descriptions is one of the most challenging parts of writing. For me at least.
Now for covers. I played around with a few different options, but having something completely different was not working for me, so I decided to do a variation of the cover from book 1.

It pretty much made the third cover have to be:

What about the final book? I had written the beginning and ending last year, so I just need to write that meaty part of the sandwich.
If everything goes as planned, The Second View will be out in the fall, and The Final View in the spring.
Is it too early to presell? Probably not.

Well done, Leon. I do like the cover and they all work well as a series.
