17 Going Under and Getting Started by UK musician, Sam Fender, are similar sounding songs. I heard the first one on, you guessed it, CBC Radio.
It took me a few songs to figure out that his voice reminded me of Scott Hutchison* of Frightened Rabbit.

I see the similarity too. I’m not sure about Sam Fender: his tunes are good but there is something a bit too shouty for me about his vocals. Maybe I’ll give his album another try…
