Weekend Wrap-up Feb 26: CSS (Can’t Seem Simple)

I decided to revamp the homepage of my website. I was tired of the bland background, so I uploaded a starry picture from Canva, went to the customize page, selected ‘set background’, and Voila!

But wait. I wanted it on the homepage only and it was on every one, which meant my fonts didn’t show up. Well, I’m not going to go through every page and change the font color, so let’s go back and see if we can set the background for one page.

See where this is going?

So, can you? Yes, you can, but first you have to go though every menu item to look for the proper one, then click the little question mark to look up the answer, then contact a CSR (I’m not calling them Happiness Engineers, although they are quite delightful) to ask if it can be done, then wait, then wait . . .

Voila! It’s easy-peasy. Easy as pie (actually cake is easier because you don’t have to deal with pastry). All you have to do is enter this into the additional CSS frame:

Can you hear my headshake and eyeroll?
