Tuesday Tidbits / Inktober Day 19 (Loop): Too Much or Too Little

October 19: Loop

Too Much or Too Little

I don’t like wasting food. I try to keep the contents of my refrigerator to a minimum, but sometimes the perfect storm arrives. Which has my fridge fuller than usual.

A good sale at the grocery store. What I took out from the freezer a few days ago waits patiently for the required ingredient which I haven’t had a chance to purchase yet. The harvest from the parent’s garden compounds the traffic jam of produce in the lower compartments. Friends giving food that they made too much of. Tupperware abounds with many delights inside. From the outside they look the same. The gravy from last week’s Thanksgiving has made its way to the neither regions of the back of the fridge.

Things need to be prioritized before I am forced to discard.

I had soup for breakfast.
